Here comes another one. It seems like almost every week, news breaks of Skrillex linking with another high-profile collaborator. New music with Bruno Mars, Rick Ross, and Fetty Wap are all in the works, and now M.I.A. seems to be the next artist officially joining those ranks.
News of an upcoming collaboration between Skrillex and M.I.A. has been floating around for some time, though now it seems a joint effort between the OWSLA head honcho and the “Bad Girls” rapper might actually come to fruition, possibly on her upcoming album due in July.
A short preview finds Sonny flexing his production muscle around M.I.A.’s incontestable style on a tentatively named “Go Off.” Following up on the eclectic rhythms of Baauer‘s “Temple,” M.I.A. appears to be laying down similar flows on a new Skrillex beat. Preview “Go Off” here.
