Minimal Effort announces Los Angeles expansion plans for 2016

LA underground events brand Minimal Effort is no stranger to creating elaborately planned and intricately detailed parties for house and techno partygoers, and their enduring success has led them to announce a massive expansion for their 2016 functions.

While Minimal Effort’s staple affairs for Halloween and New Year’s Eve are typically hosted at Belasco Theater in downtown LA, this year’s location for both will be held just minutes away at LA Center Studios — a breathtaking events space overlooking Los Angeles’ downtown skyline.

Featuring two stages, Minimal Effort 2016 will welcome 5,000 attendees to its unparalleled labyrinth for both its Halloween and NYE shows. While this year’s lineups have yet to be released, past artists include the likes of Jimmy Edgar, J. Phlip, Danny Daze, Fur Coat, andhim, Blond:ish, Miss Kittin and many more. The Halloween lineup will be announced July 7.

Miniml Effort’s Halloween soiree takes place Saturday, October 29, while the New Year’s Eve edition takes place on Saturday, December 31. Tickets for Minimal Effort Halloween go on sale July 15, but you can RSVP here.
