Firefly Music Festival returns to The Woodlands Dover, Delaware this weekend, from June 15th-18th. The venue itself is enough to attract thousands attendees each year. The lush, pristine wooded area is an amazing backdrop to the campgrounds, and the stages where so many artists showcase their talents.
With a stacked lineup, insanely tantalizing options for all the foodies out there, and a reputation for so effortlessly uniting an experience in nature with an array genres and artists, Firefly promises to bring an unforgettable 2017 installment.

For this year’s installment, sweet add-ons like the Spruce-Up Pass, and returning amenities like the popular Glamping package, help to make Firefly a camping festival that appeals to those us who are willing to rough it out in nature for a few days, and to others who prefer a more structured experience.
With so many points interest within the festival grounds, this year’s map was made to be very accessible, particularly for anyone who might lose their way while moving from one stage to another. Navigating the event will definitely be a no brainer, and the unique venue makes wandering around for awhile even more fun than usual.
The hidden gem that is The Treehouse Stage fers a more personal experience for fans – several up-and-coming artists will take the stage there to perform toned-down sets. The Malibu Beach House, on the other hand, is the quintessential spot for socializing, taking the entire event in, and – most importantly – indulging in a few refreshing cocktails.
Hammocks are scattered throughout the festival grounds for those who might enjoy casual hangouts more than joining the energetic crowds. Free Wi-Fi is being fered this year, too, allowing everyone to stay connected to one another.
And course, for most us, the food options can make or break the experience. Not to worry, Firefly has us covered this year with – perhaps – the most varied menu ever fered by the festival.
Don’t miss out on trying something from Grilled Cheese Incident and Roti Rolls.
All around, taking a chance on a multi-genre fest can be a big deal for those us who usually stick to dance music events. Still, there is so much to see, to explore and to experience this year at Firefly, and it is definitely the perfect event to get your summer started with.
