Tomorrowland Foundation and Mobile School VZW are collaborating with one another to bring the impactful ethos and core values of Tomorrowland to schoolchildren in the form of a beautiful toolkit. The LIVE, LOVE, UNITE toolkit is an interactive educational game that brings the colorful world of Tomorrowland to youth workers, teachers, and youth organizations. Prominent Belgian DJ/producer Amber Broos visited primary school De Kraal in Winksele on Monday, September 16 and she brought out the toolkit so that the schoolchildren there can enjoy what the toolkit has to offer. Furthermore, the toolkit also celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Tomorrowland Festival.
This innovative toolkit has inspirations that come from 12 very prominent artists in the dance/electronic music world. These artists are NERVO, Armin van Buuren, Lost Frequencies, GORDO, MATTN, Amber Broos, Henri PFR, Netsky, Andromedik, Kölsch, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, and AFROJACK. The role that this toolkit is to instruct and guide the youth on learning important lessons that will help them have a great future and also become role models for other youth in the next generation as well. The LIVE value emphasizes the importance of being oneself, LOVE allows all to respect oneself and others around, and UNITE strives all to work together in a genuine, loving manner.
Furthermore, the toolkit features a colorful panel that brings out a festival environment that contains recognizable situations and QR codes. By scanning the codes, children and young people are invited to watch engaging videos where the DJs share compelling stories and give enjoyable challenges that help them understand and apply the core values.
LIVE, LOVE, UNITE worldwide
The 70 Mobile School partners operating in 37 countries are not the only providers who are bringing out the LIVE, LOVE, UNITE toolkits. Anyone working with children and young people such as other educational institutions or specialized youth programs can also partake in the fun with this toolkit as well. Youth workers, teachers, and educators can easily download and use the toolkit to engage with young people aged 8 to 15. Participants can complete the toolkit in parts or in one single play-through, with a total duration of 2 to 3 hours, which makes it a perfect product for anyone to learn and enjoy at their own pace. Finally, the toolkit is available in Dutch, English, and Spanish.
