Fantasia Music Innovates With Debut Compilation Future Fantasy Vol I

Reno-based label Fantasia Music is ready to convey its imaginative collection of soundscapes into the world. Founded in 2021, the label has embellished Nevada with events and melodies that push the boundaries of electronic music. Now, Fantasia artists are ready to officially release their magic into the World with Future Fantasy Vol I. The label’s debut compilation showcases Fantasia’s visionaries with a blend of organic, Latin, Tech, Retro, Afro, Tribal, Melodic, and Progressive House grooves.

Future Fantasy Vol I

Soundsmith Ātrisco opens up the floor with the title track ‘Future Fantasy’, an energetic and fun tribal track that transcends eras. Then, Bay Area native Good Questions joins in with his track ‘Feel It Burning’. His 20 years of musical expertise shine through the smooth and warm undertones. This elevates the sultry female vocals. The compilation continues with Groove Cartel‘s ‘Pain, Pleasure, Fantasy’. The former Infected Mushroom drummer has gained steam since the inception of the Groove Cartel project. This track reflects his mastery of rhythmic forces and pulsating beats.

Then, French-Mexican artist RAMEFF presents us with his track ‘Teke’. With flavorful drums and ethnically infused melodies, RAMEFF showcases “a bright, sun-soaked track, simple, basic and effective in its construction. It’s joyful, an invitation to dance, to move, to let the body follow the rhythm. Its Latin roots are fully embraced, shaped in the warm Mexican heat where it was created.” In addition, Nhibit brings the heat with ‘NoSkip’. The song is a party-ready track with bright keys and organic percussion. It has no shortage of momentum and just the right amount of wonk. Written deep in the midst of summer, it captures the high energy of the season. It embodies the rich experience of sharing a dance floor with friends and strangers alike.

DARKSXTN follows up with ‘Gud Gawd’, a masterful mix of his deep UK Garage and broken House. A track to play at every afters, ‘Gud Gawd’ is nothing short of grimy yet tasteful.

“It hits immediately with smoky vocal fragments twisted into a frantic high-pitch hook over chest-rattling 808s, tape-burned breaks, and a snarling low end. The energy locks in fast and pushes the room into that late-night peak-time fever when everything feels charged. A true floor detonator for the hours when things get strange.”

Beyond The Fantasy

LA-based artist Michael Sandler brings out the melancholic track ‘Njamba’ under his pseudonym SAAND. The track is an emotional tale of genre-bending craft and deep control. The luscious and melodic journey reverberates over a thumping bassline and tribal vocals. Winstone‘s ‘Una Playa’ is the perfect introduction to the ending of the album. The organic track teleports you to warm sands and soft breeze.

Finally, label head Sonus completes the compilation with his release ‘Tomorrow’s A New Day’. The song is the pure expression of hope from difficult times. It is the sound of moving forward. Tomorrow’s A New Day is for the moments you need to ground yourself. Remember that today’s challenges do not define tomorrow’s potential. Every sunrise offers a new beginning.

Visionaries

Ātrisco

Multi-instrumentalist, producer and electronic music artist, Ātrisco, is a soundsmith who’s style can be described as a fusion of genres. He is not tied to a particular one. Being versatile in his musical approach and playing a variety of styles is nothing new to him.

Good Question

The Bay Area native has been playing and performing music in one form or another for 20 years.
The Good Question project is a tongue-in-cheek reflection of Will’s curiosity in life. It reflects his deep passion for music and the persistent why. Good Question is all about house music in whatever form; the only requirement is the groove.

Groove Cartel

“Focused on the creation of pure, honest dance music, Groove Cartel was born. Formed by Musician and Drummer Cary White (Infected Mushroom, Tom Morello), GC has been gaining steam since the project’s inception in late 2016. In a musical world of “here today, gone tomorrow”, Cary has found a way to incorporate what he considers to be the most important element of music today – The Groove!”

RAMEFF

RAMEFF, a French DJ and producer, currently resides in Mexico. He infuses his music with a unique blend of influences. Raised with a musical background in piano and percussion, Rameff’s journey into the world of DJing began at rave parties in France. His distinctive style is characterized by atmospheric and hybrid sets that radiate electricity and ethnic vibes. Armed with his percussion and a variety of instruments, he crafts a sonic experience that captivates audiences.

NHIBIT

The artist combines tight rhythms and driving basslines. The textures creep and evolve to produce his own signature style. Blending club heaters and emotive arrangements into all his live mixes and original productions, he keeps the energy up on the dance floor. His listeners’ focus remains locked.

DARKSXTN

DARKSXTN moves in the shadows between UK Garage, broken house, and late-night sound-system culture. The alias belongs to an artist with deep roots across multiple scenes. He is known in some circles for soul-soaked performances and in others for behind-the-scenes craftsmanship. DARKSXTN is where those histories collide with tape-grit textures. The dub-space atmosphere and the restless pulse of the after-hours dancefloor are present.

SAAND

Los Angeles-based Michael Sandler’s accomplishments span across a variety of genres and pseudonyms. As SAAND, his melancholic audio tales are no doubt intended to motivate a crowd over the course of an evening. The sulky textures that flow through SAAND’s palette add depth. Simultaneously, they control the intensity of the music. SAAND consistently demonstrates control over the pace of his music. This skill will allow any melancholic shade of house music to flourish with enthusiasm.

Sonus

Since 2015, Sonus has been curating journeys through sound. He has shared the stage with melodic heavyweights such as Nora En Pure and Spencer Brown. This has built a reputation for emotive and diverse performances. His sets seamlessly blend the ethereal textures of deep and melodic house. They combine with the grounded grooves of organic and minimal house. Unbound by strict genre definitions, Sonus creates music with a singular purpose: to move the soul.
