Fred again.. Sparks GTA VI Soundtrack Speculation

Fred again.. appears to be getting involved with Grand Theft Auto VI after his team shared a mysterious piece of GTA-inspired artwork on social media.

The image appeared through @fredagainfeed, an Instagram account run by Fred again..’s team rather than his main profile. It shows a yacht rendered in the distinctive visual style Rockstar Games has used to promote GTA VI, accompanied by a palm tree emoji.

On its own, the post leaves plenty unanswered. However, Fred again.. was far from the only artist sharing similar artwork.

Around the same time on September 15, artists including Travis Scott, PinkPantheress, Metro Boomin, Future, Rauw Alejandro, Yung Lean and Keith Richards shared images tied to the same apparent campaign. CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso also posted the yacht artwork later shared by Fred again..’s team.

The coordinated roll-out strongly suggests the artists have some connection to GTA VI. Exactly what that means remains unclear.

Rockstar Games has not announced a Fred again.. track for the game or confirmed that he will appear on one of its radio stations. The posts could point toward soundtrack placements, original music, radio appearances or another collaboration surrounding the game.

GTA VI’s Soundtrack Is Starting to Take Shape

Music has always played a major role in the Grand Theft Auto series, particularly through the fictional radio stations players hear while driving through its open worlds.

GTA VI returns the series to Vice City and the surrounding state of Leonida. That setting has already shaped much of the game’s visual identity, with beaches, nightlife, boats and neon-soaked environments appearing throughout Rockstar’s promotional material.

The new artist posts follow that same aesthetic. Fred again..’s potential involvement would also add another major electronic artist to the music surrounding GTA VI. Rockstar’s recent extended look at the game featured music from artists including Elderbrook, Bob Moses, Aluna and Jayda G, among a much broader selection of genres.

However, music appearing in promotional footage does not necessarily confirm that the same tracks will appear on GTA VI’s in-game radio stations. The latest social campaign appears to offer a more deliberate look at artists connected to the game. Travis Scott went further than most, tagging Rockstar Games while referencing his return to gaming in his post. Other artists simply shared artwork without explaining what it represents.

Fred again.. falls into the latter group. His team has not identified a track, radio station or specific collaboration. Rockstar has also kept quiet about the meaning behind the coordinated posts.

That leaves the exact nature of Fred again..’s involvement open for now. What is clear is that his team has joined a group of major artists simultaneously teasing a connection to one of the year’s biggest entertainment releases.

Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled to launch November 19, 2026. With the release approaching, the sudden wave of artist posts could signal that Rockstar is preparing to reveal more about the game’s music.
