Terminal V is officially entering a new era ahead of its milestone anniversary. After announcing a move from Edinburgh to Glasgow, the festival team has now revealed Clydeside Live as the home for its next installment.
Taking place from June 4-6, 2027, the festival will mark Terminal V’s first three-day edition and its first entirely outdoor Scottish festival. The announcement comes with designs that are giving fans a taste of what the new, open-air event space has in store.
Clydeside Live Opens A World of Possibilities
Situated within Glasgow’s historic docklands, Clydeside Live is surrounded by an industrial landscape which happens to align with Terminal V’s own visual identity. The 10th anniversary looks to blend tradition and innovation as organizers intend on preserving their roots while working around the new location.
Plans include an entirely new main stage positioned at the water’s edge, while established stages The Hangar and The Greenhouse will make their returns. A combination of the site’s scale, riverside setting and industrial surroundings grant the freedom to create what would’ve been impossible otherwise.
Terminal V’s Global Ascent
The festival traces back to its debut in 2017 as a one-day, 2,000-capacity event. Over the following decade, Terminal V has expanded into a major multi-stage electronic music festival welcoming over a quarter of a million fans. More than 30% of ticket sales come from outside Scotland as the brand has cultivated a following beyond its original home.
This growth has also launched Croatian, London and Australian editions of the festival. So while the 2026 edition marked the final Terminal V at the Royal Highland Centre after nearly a decade of its Edinburgh residence, the move to a larger event space is backed by the numbers.
With the venue for 2027’s event confirmed, fans now eagerly await lineup announcements with the promise of Terminal V’s grandest year yet.
