Out today is the latest release from GRAMMY-nominated producer duo SIDEPIECE and LA-raised producer OMNOM: the tech house heater, ‘When We’re Dancing,’ featuring vocals from Taylr Renee.
SIDEPIECE (formed by dance music mainstays Party Favor and NITTI) have proven they found the fastest way to the heart of house music after countless crowd-favorited singles over the past few years. OMNOM has remained an uncompromising force of nature for the modern house scene, between his longstanding chart-topping solo career and his widespread HYPERBEAM project with Odd Mob. Originally from Greenland, Taylr Renee is an LA-based topliner whose impressive pipes have permeated across the dance music landscape. This powerhouse collective has joined forces for their new single via SIDEPIECE‘s burgeoning Lip Service label.
‘When We’re Dancing’ is a tech house track harnessing a heavy-hitting energy designed for peak-time sets. Renee’s captivating hooks are powerful and provocative, her breathy vocals admit the attraction hits harder under specific conditions. They mirror the sweltering and seductive aesthetic through bellowing detuned growls, piercing drum patterns, squelchy flourishes, and dark atmospherics.
SIDEPIECE recently dropped their ‘Control’ collab with G-Pol, drawing more than 320k streams in less than a month and clinching No. 1 on Beatport’s Bass House chart. It has landed radio plays from SiriusXM, Kiss FM AUS, Radio Metro, NRJ, Dasding, EDM Sessions, SubFM, WZFL, and received tastemaker support from Anyma, Cassian, Bijou, Alison Wonderland, and ACRAZE. They are currently riding high off a sold-out US Tour, and are about to make their Red Rocks debut, and embark on an upcoming Australia Tour.
OMNOM is currently slammed with international tour dates, with a current run of shows including EDC Thailand, Escape Halloween, Boo! Seattle, OMNIA Day Club, The Vogue, Proper NYE, Silo Dallas, Concord Music Hall, Realm PDX, The Concourse Project, and Forest Hills Stadium. Taylr has been a festival staple following high-profile releases with Axwell, Sick Individuals, CID, LSDREAM, Stadiumx, and Paris Blohm.
