Porter Robinson kicked 2020 off with the announcement of his sophomore LP, Nurture. The project comes nearly six years after Robinson’s seminal studio album debut, Worlds, and back in January, Robinson shared the lead single from the upcoming collection—”Get Your Wish.” Now, he’s returned with a follow up single, this time unveiling “Something Comforting,” giving another inside glimpse at what Nurture should offer.
The “Ghost Voices” producer’s latest delivery bears his signature production hallmarks, giving additional insight into the sonic tapestry that Nurture promises to be. Lyrical and uplifting with more than just a splash of electro-pop appeal, “Something Comforting” follows suit with the album’s lead single in that it seems to from a deep personal space for Robinson, which is likely to be a central theme across the entire forthcoming LP. Hear “Something Comforting” below.
