Sam Feldt launches Heartfeldt Records with inaugural release, ‘Hold Me Close’

“Hold Me Close” isn’t any average Sam Feldt one-off. The Ella Henderson-assisted single marks the inaugural release on Feldt’s newly minted imprint, Heartfeldt Records, established in conjunction with Spinnin’ Records.

The upbeat dance-pop production buoyantly channels the spirit of the summer. This, of course, has proven to be an evergreen strong suit of Feldt’s creative style, and it remains just as fresh on “Hold Me Close” as it did on “Show Me Love,” the 2015 single that first put Feldt on the map.

Streaming Feldt’s latest isn’t just a form of electronic diversion or a way of catching up with the new releases from the week of March 23; it’s also an opportunity to aid the sustainable aim of the producer’s environmentally-focused Heartfeldt Foundation. For every 250,000 streams of “Hold Me Close,” CarbonTrees, a rainforest planter in Costa Rica, will plant a tree on behalf of Spinnin’ and Feldt, with the overall goal of growing a “Heartfeldt Forest.” More information on the endeavor is available on Spinnin’ Records’ official website.
