Sydney to score multi-level bar and restaurant venue

The good news keeps coming for Sydney/Gadigal nightlife with a green light for a multi-level, multi-venue bar and restaurant announced for July.

Ever growing hospitality business The Point Group, behind other local standout venues including Harpoon Harrys and The Dolphin say the project, dubbed ‘Shell House’ will be a destination for the creative, fun and social in the CBD.

Housed in the Brookfield Place development just behind Wynard Station will be essentially four venues in one. On the ground floor will be a day and night bar and bistro, a dining room and terrace on level nine and for those not afraid of heights, a sky-bar on level 10 when it finally opens in October.

Point Group CEO Brett Robinson said “We want to create an oasis in the heart of the city, that tells a new and interesting story as you travel through the three levels of hospitality. We will create a new centre of gravity for good times in the city.”

With a 15-year lease secured they hope to be a frontal push for Sydney/Gadigal nightlife and join the new YCK Laneways precinct around the corner as well as grand plans for Kings Cross, Cockatoo Island and George Street.
