• Deep House warmth with a clean modern twist
• Dreamy piano and smooth percussion layering
• A vocal that feels both soft and sincere
I’ve been really getting into TMPST‘s sound lately, especially when I’m traveling. Sitting at the airport right now, listening to his new collab “Forgive,” I honestly feel at home. It’s that kind of Deep House that doesn’t try too hard, yet instantly sets the mood. The mix is crisp, the vocals are comforting, and the warmth throughout feels unmistakably Swedish. With Iskarelyn and ALLKNIGHT on board, the trio crafted something that flows effortlessly.
What caught me first was the piano in the background. It has this playful, almost childlike tone that fits perfectly with the song’s message. It’s gentle but not too sentimental, just enough to make the whole thing breathe. Then the percussion builds slowly, adding tension bit by bit until it blooms into a surprisingly strong drop for a track this mellow. There’s a subtle distortion on the main lead that sneaks in at the right moment, giving it that spicy lift before the vocal smooths everything back down.
“Forgive” stands out because of how balanced it feels. Every classic Deep House element (vocals, groove, low-end warmth) sits neatly in place without clashing. The sugary vocal never feels overdone, the percussions punch without overpowering, and the small production details make the difference. You can tell this wasn’t rushed; there’s a lot of care in how the energy moves from one section to the next.
In short, this collab is pure comfort listening. Not flashy, not formulaic. Honest, well-built music that sticks with you after a few plays. TMPST and the crew managed to make something familiar yet personal, and I’ll be looping this one through the next few flights for sure.
