A Journey Through Anjuna’s Chillout Legacy
The Anjuna labels have long embraced downtempo music. The journey began in 2014 when Above & Beyond played a spontaneous sunset set at Burning Man’s Robot Heart stage. This moment of inspiration led to Flow State in 2019, a dedicated ambient and meditation album that became a defining moment for Anjuna’s chillout expansion.
Since then, the chillout branch has flourished. Reflections launched in 2022 as a standalone label dedicated to ambient and downtempo music. Now, Anjunachill 01 arrives as the next evolution. It celebrates this legacy while introducing a new wave of talent.

Curated and mixed by Above & Beyond, Anjunachill 01 opens with their latest ambient track, “Shall We Begin,”. It was released in January 2025 to mark the relaunch of the label.
