Alesso and DubVision reclaim the progressive house cathedra on ‘One Last Time’

Alesso’s three-track PROGRESSO VOLUME 1 mixtape in spring 2019 beckoned toward a worthy reclamation of the Swedish producer’s progressive lineage. Nearly two months following, an ID strikingly reminiscent of Alesso’s early 2010s presence found its way into his EDC Las Vegas appearance, signaling his first conventional break into the genre since his debut album in 2015. After continually crowd testing the single through the rest of the year and debuting its final form during Countdown NYE, any speculated inquiries have now been closed as “One Last Time” arrives in all its grandeur alongside DubVision.

“One Last Time” etches itself within the progressive house genre’s far-reaching record of consequential moments, as two of its flagship talents come forth for an emphatically overdue merger. A pristine solution of both Alesso’s and DubVision’s emblematic taste, the collaboration gratifies in every aspect from its tempting lyrics to an unforgettable chord progression.

Stream “One Last Time” below, and check back for updates as inklings of Alesso’s PROGRESSO VOLUME 2 effort may be imminent.
