The wait is over, and Apple fans are already preparing their wallets for the newest product launch. Namely, the new AirPods Max 2. Years after its predecessor hit the market, the new model will be released in early April, with preorders starting March 25th. The new Apple product will sell for $549.

As told by Ashley King for Digital Music News, the new AirPods Max 2 have 5 available colors: midnight, starlight, orange, purple, and blue. Similar to the AirPods Pro and AirPods 4, this new model includes the H2 chip. The chip, including a high-dynamic range amplifier, improves the sound experience. The H2 chip also improves the Active Noise Cancellation feature and the Transparency mode.
The features don’t stop there. Digital Music News also expressed that the new AirPods Max 2 also come with Live Translation, Adaptive Audio, Voice Isolation, Camera Remote, Conversation Awareness, Loud Sound Reduction, studio-quality audio recording, and Siri interactions via head gestures.
Just as the former model, the AirPods Max 2 supports 24-bit, 48 kHz lossless audio when connected with the included USB-C cable. Furthermore, for a heightened gaming experience, reduced wireless audio latency is present during Game Mode. The features might not be all that new since the AirPods Pro did it first. However, King explains that this updates the Max models to the more advanced current counterparts.
