We’ve got a great EP for you to listen to today.
With over 250 million streams globally and previous support from major artists like Black Coffee, Diplo, Tiësto, Hardwell, Miss Monique, and ZHU, gifted producer Avoure is now embarking on a new phase in his career. His journey toward this first album is driven by his own artistic vision, not limited by typical music genres. In fact, his latest release is a case in point of that.
Avoure has officially kicked off work on his first full-length album, which will be released through Biome Recordings. This exciting news comes with the launch of his Halo EP, a two-tracker package focused on variety and innovation, while keeping the quality at the usual all-time high he’s known for.
The Halo EP
The EP showcases a clever blend of styles and genres, to produce two tracks that are both surgically tuned to perfection, and also a tasty treat for every kind of fan and situation. Interestingly, the main track, ‘Halo‘, was created back in 2018 but was never released. Almost seven years later, Avoure chose to revisit this original concept, giving it fresh meaning and deeper feelings.
While working on the new version of Halo, I felt like I was touching the very beginning of my musical journey — a moment of truth, when I was creating music without any concern for the industry or its standards. It was something honest and real, and it brought back that deep connection to music I had been searching for over the past few years.

‘Halo’
And creatively mind-breaking it is. The EP’s title track presents what I would best describe as “Lane 8 meets the 80s“. This is the kind of Progressive Trance you would have if you blended the 2017-2018 stuff with a bit of This Never Happened, and the result is truly mint. It’s somehow both delicate and hard-hitting at the same time. You need to listen to it to understand what I want to convey here.
‘Renaissance’
The B-side, ‘Renaissance‘, is yet another piece of solid evidence towards Avoure’s mastery of sound as a whole. Escaping from the usual sounds, he arrives at an incredibly catchy Afro House piece. It ticks all the boxes: piano chords, saw plucks, analogue, warm leads, groovy percussion, and a hypnotic vocal loop. Tasty.
