The title track combines sirens, reverb-heavy stabs, and chopped choral vocals to create an urgent soundscape, while a brief melodic synth chord adds emotional depth. ‘Don’t Look Back’ offers fast-paced hard techno with a Moroder-inspired synth beat and euphoric female vocals in call-and-response style. ‘Synchronize Your Love’ mixes dynamic techno with echoing female vocals and acid-driven melodies. Finally, ‘One Woman Army’ starts with alien chimes, evolving into compelling techno beats and chants. The standout breakdown features a melodic section where both vocals intertwine. Charlotte de Witte welcomes back Balthazar & JackRock on KNTXT
“I’m very excited and proud to welcome Balthazar & JackRock back on KNTXT. After their powerful debut EP ‘In The Dark’ last year, it’s great to have them return with another strong release. These four tracks have been a steady part of my sets for months now. I can’t wait for everyone to finally hear them”.
The duo described how their previous EP inpired them to produce their latest release
“A year ago, ‘In The Dark’ set the emotional bar high, so we dedicated ourselves to creating new stories for people to experience and reflect on. ‘Soulcatcher’ brings four different themes, each carrying its own sonic energy, yet all connected through life itself. As always, we aimed to craft journeys that stay with you—on the dance floor, in your headphones, on the road, or wherever our music finds you”.
