Barkin and SLAYJAY Drop Genre-Defying House Track ‘Embrace’

Barkin and SLAYJAY have come together for an electric house track, ‘Embrace’. Spanning multiple genres, the record adopts a distinctive approach to house music. Taking influence from Tech House, Bass House, and Techno, ‘Embrace’ is a culmination of multiple genres. Perhaps we call it Industrial Tech House?

It begins with a tension-filled break and a sultry female vocal. Energy starts to tease our ears as the pace quickly rises. A massive, gritty rolling synth greets us in the drop that will have your body shaking. The dark driving bassline pumps this track forward with pulsating drums, giving the illusion that this track is faster than it is.

‘Embrace’ is non-stop energy with drops into builds. Momentum is never lost and instead continues to gain life throughout. The 2nd drop presents a new idea while staying true to the first. And the final drop brings us back home with even more vibrancy.

Barkin is continuing his electric 2025. The New York-based producer has already dropped tracks on Don Diablo’s Hexagon with ‘Percolator’. SLAYJAY is also having a massive 2025 with releases ‘Good On You’ and ‘Like This’. The Detroit-based producer represents some of the finest sounds in Tech House.
