Stutter house producer BUNT., GRAMMY® Award-winning duo The Chainsmokers, and singer-songwriter Izzy Bizu have collaborated on the new single ‘Spaces,‘ out today via Arista Records.
The track combines elements from all three artists, creating a sound designed for both clubs and festivals. BUNT. first previewed ‘Spaces’ during his set at Lollapalooza last month. The new song was also performed by BUNT. and The Chainsmokers at a surprise pop-up show in NYC this week. ‘Spaces’ strikes a captivating emotional balance—energetic and driving, yet introspective and vulnerable. It’s the kind of track that makes you want to dance and reflect.
During the pop-up BUNT. discussed the surreal moment of working with The Chainsmokers sharing, “They were like my childhood heroes, and I’m having that full circle moment where we were in the studio together and being here this will be insane. Two years ago I was driving my bike, delivering food for Uber Eats, and now I am standing here with these two legends. These two guys did so much for the EDM scene, so for me this is insanely special.” Soon crowds will be singing along to the relatable feelings of falling out of love with “I don’t know where I’ve been and I don’t know who I am / I woke up in a haze, I don’t even understand / Who I am without you.”
‘Spaces’ follows BUNT.’s recent release with Tom Odell, ‘Best Day of My Life (BUNT. Version),’ which has surpassed 15 million streams. BUNT.’s solo career launched with his debut project Levi Don’t Do It, which includes the track ‘Clouds’ that has over 380 million global streams. He has also released songs like ‘You’ with Oaks, ‘Crown,’ and ‘TRIPPIN’ with Mapei. He has a busy tour schedule with over 250 shows that have sold more than 150,000 tickets globally.
BUNT. has also sold-out headlining gigs across North America and Europe with his In the GREATER Round Tour and unique approach to live performance, playing super high-energy sets in the middle of the room, surrounded by fans in a moshpit-like scene. It’s a performance style that he perfected and pioneered by throwing pop-up shows everywhere from pizza parlors and taco stands to lucha libre arenas and old New York City fire stations (see footage from those HERE and HERE). Between tours, pop-ups, and fests, BUNT. has been on the road nonstop — as his itinerary below shows — and there’s more to come soon.
