Today, GRAMMY-winning producer and DJ Cassian kicks off 2025 with his first original release of the year, ‘Where I’m From,’ out now via Three Six Zero Recordings. The track is a collaboration with SCRIPT, a fellow Afterlife Records alum, marking a fusion of their signature melodic and cinematic electronic sounds alongside Belladonna.
A staple in Cassian’s recent DJ sets, ‘Where I’m From’ is a masterclass in tension and release, a surging anthem built for maximum impact. A fierce, saw-toothed synth line slices through the mix, riding atop a rolling low-end. Cassian has played the track out at EDC Mexico, Miami’s Club Space, Anyma’s Genesys show in Melbourne, and more on his Instagram.

Rising producer SCRIPT, who joins Cassian on tour this March, has been making waves in the melodic house and techno space with his high-energy sound. As the first American electronic artist to perform at the Las Vegas Sphere—where this track had its U.S. debut—SCRIPT has quickly become a force to watch. Following a sold-out headline tour across Europe in April, he now brings his momentum stateside, setting the stage for an electrifying run with Cassian.

‘Where I’m From’ arrives amid Cassian’s North American tour, which will conclude with an all-night-long set for Teksupport at a New York City warehouse. He’s also set to debut at Tomorrowland’s main stage this summer. The release follows his performance at the Las Vegas Sphere for Anyma’s End of Genesys shows, a residency in which Cassian served as Music Director, working closely with Anyma and overseeing the entire audio experience.
