Los Angeles-based hit-making trio Cheat Codes have released their new album, Future Renaissance, via Cheat Codes. The 15-track collection celebrates ten years of the multiplatinum producers’ impact on dance music, blending their signature sound with a range of collaborations.
Among the album’s highlights is the new single “Go To Hell,’ featuring five-time GRAMMY Award-winning soul artist CeeLo Green. The track pairs a piano melody and the trio’s production with Green’s distinct vocals. Its chorus, “I wish you well, but you can go to Hell, ‘cause darling Heaven isn’t good enough for you,” offers a lyrical twist, combining sharp wit with a bright energy that merges retro-soul with dance-pop.
Future Renaissance features a diverse roster of guest artists. Frawley appears on “Towers,” a track characterized by its unpredictable sound design and dramatic shifts, showcasing her vocals. “Rich Kids” brings a pop sensibility with its refrain, “Don’t have a lot, but we live like rich kids.” The album also explores emotional depth with tracks like “Believing In Us” featuring Oaks, an emotionally charged soundscape that supports the hook, “Are we gonna stop believing in us?” This range of sounds and emotions positions Future Renaissance as a significant release in the trio’s career.
