Ciaran McAuley And Michael Alan Deliver Stunning Remixes For Paul Skelton’s ‘Angel’

This is pure Trance bliss for you.

One of the Trance releases that got us the most emotional this year, ‘Angel‘, by Paul Skelton, Andy Newtz, and Tara Green, just got two excellent remixes, expanding its reach even more. Coming your way from Amon Vision, the two official remixers who got their hands on the track are Aussie veteran Michael Alan and global Trance icon Ciaran McAuley.

We’ve got to say the original truly blew us away when it came out in January, with its delicate blend of pianos, soft yet present vocals, elevating pads, and fast-paced Uplifting rhythms. It appeared like there would be no way to take this song in a different direction and make it sound as good. Boy, were we wrong. I say this very happily by the way.

‘Angel’, The Remixes

Two stunning reimaginations for ‘Angel’ came to the light yesterday Friday 17th, and they came from the hands of two guys who surely know what they’re doing. We’ve got the vision of legend Ciaran McAuley, bringing the heat and momentum with his signature spike of emotion, and Michael Alan, who masterfully adapted the single to a slightly slower, but very reminiscing low-130s sound.

Ciaran McAuley Remix

A truly wonderful revision, this remix had for months been an ID, a very expected one, for sure. Ciaran played it everywhere he went and the hype just built on. And it’s not unfounded by any means. Enjoy those tears forming in your eyes, as this remix is pure bliss, and even a bandaid for the heart. Pads, trancy plucks that remind us of OceanLab, it’s certainly got everything.

Michael Alan Remix

While Ciaran’s remix is jaw-dropping, please don’t sleep on this one. Mike grabbed ‘Angel’ and turned it into something truly incredible in a slower, Progressive Trance style. But an elegant sound, reminiscent of the 2010s releases. This one really got me moving, it’s amazing. It’s got tons of crispy percussion that won’t let you sit down, and the way the drop unfolds is incredible.

It’d been a while since the last time a remix package was so good it wouldn’t let me choose between them for a favourite, so I’d advise you check them both out. They’re equally as impressive. Check out both remixes in the links below each name’s paragraph, and make sure to stay tuned to our page for the latest in Dance music.
