Moon Boots and Mat Zo are a match made in heaven. In his new release, Zo took Bimini Road‘s “Tied Up” and put a funky spin on it, opting for slight key change, a slightly quicker pace, and grooving bassline to make it his own. Zo’s rendition will likely reignite fans’ love of the original tune, along with this fresh remix.
Metrik‘s first release of the year is a powerful one. The UK producer takes to Hospital Records for the release of “We Are The Energy,” a mighty drum ‘n’ bass number that’s packed with all the energy and emotion that fans have come to know and love from the producer.
1991 has been switching things up, surprising listeners with a trap-oriented release on RL Grime‘s Sable Valley in early February. The UK producer, who’s primarily known for making drum ‘n’ bass, couldn’t stay away from racing BPMs for long, though. In his new release, he launches “The People” into drum ‘n’ bass madness, likely to the delight of his dnb-loving fans.
For his latest house heater, SNBRN tapped the talents of vocalist Cappa. “Colder” is effortlessly cool, as SNBRN incorporates some nostalgic house elements to bring the record to life. “I had such an incredible experience working on this record,” he said in a tweet. “Really got to throw some 90s house sounds on this one.”
AMTRAC continues the journey to the full debut of his Oddyssey album with “Teenage Love,” featuring singer Saint Kenaire. The song has a melancholic tone to it and is fairly minimalist with its drifting synth melodies and vocals. AMTRAC left percussion out of the tune, noting that “sometimes you gotta let the synths breathe.”
