Dimension, Sub Focus, and NGHTMRE’s Heavenly Collab ‘Angel’

Calling all ‘Angels’ — the powerhouse trio of Dimension, Sub Focus, and NGHTMRE have finally unleashed their feel-good collaboration after months of tantalizing teasers and mounting anticipation. ‘Angel’ merges the distinctive styles of all three artists, blending high-energy elements of Drum and Bass with the crystalline vocals of Canadian singer Mougleta. At just over three uplighting minutes, it’s easy to see why Radio 1’s Dance Party with Danny Howard named ‘Angel’ Hottest Record of the Week.

A Heavenly Trio

Dimension emerged onto the drum and bass scene in 2012, gaining major recognition after signing with Chase & Status’s label in 2014. His 2018 collaboration ‘Desire’ with Sub Focus became one of the most successful Drum and Bass tracks on streaming platforms. Known for blending the aforementioned with elements of Future Funk and other Electronic genres, Dimension released his debut album Organ in March 2021 and most recently collaborated with Alison Wonderland on ‘Satellite.’

Sub Focus has been a driving force in the DnB scene since 2003. His self-titled debut album, released on October 12, 2009, featured hits like ‘Rock It’ and ‘Follow the Light,’ followed by his 2013 album Torus. In 2020, he collaborated with Wilkinson on the album Portals, and his latest album Evolve, released on May 12, 2023, won “Best Album” at the Drum and Bass Arena Awards. His latest single ‘Wildfire’ was released on July 30. Both Sub Focus and Dimension are part of the WORSHIP artists collective, alongside Culture Shock and 1991.

NGHTMRE burst onto the Electronic Dance music scene in 2015, gaining significant attention when Skrillex played his unreleased track ‘Street’ at Ultra Music Festival. Known for his diverse sound that blends elements of Trap, Dubstep, and other Electronic genres, he released his debut album DRMVRSE in 2022. NGHTMRE continues to influence both the EDM and hip-hop scenes with his innovative sound design and production techniques.

With ‘Angel,’ Dimension, Sub Focus, and NGHTMRE set a new benchmark for future collaborations, showcasing their creative synergy.
