Widely celebrated Swiss DJ, producer, and Sirup Music founder EDX has returned with a powerful new single, ‘Moyo’, which dropped Friday, July 18th via PinkStar Recordings. Showcasing his continually evolving sound, the track blends EDX’s signature progressive house flair with modern club energy, marking another infectious anthem in his enduring career.
Opening with tribal-inspired soundscapes, ‘Moyo’, a word that translates to “heart” in several South African languages, sets the tone with immersive percussion, hypnotic effects, and rich sonic textures that stir both body and mind. A deep, progressive house bassline anchors the track as it weaves in elements of tech house and rhythmic grooves. The buildup surges into a climactic drop, delivering a tidal wave of kinetic energy purposefully curated for the dancefloor.
‘Moyo’ arrives as EDX continues a standout year in his career. His 2025 output includes the deep house anthem ‘Desire,‘ a collaboration with Jess Ball that reaffirmed his melodic prowess, as well as March’s club-driven single ‘Cobalt.‘ These releases have amplified EDX’s presence across streaming platforms and global stages, with recent performances at premier venues like Club Vinyl in Denver and Toybox in Toronto last month.
