The weekend of July 18-20, 2025, saw one of the most innovative and colorful music festivals in the electronic music industry. Dirtybird Campout is the premier boutique music festival for those who live to take in the outdoor camping experience. Additionally, Northern Nights is always a festival that celebrates not just the camping life, but also the vibrant cannabis lifestyle that goes perfectly hand-in-hand with phenomenal electronic music. The collaborative Dirtybird Campout x Northern Nights Music Festival occurred at the Cook’s Valley Campgrounds, which are located in the Northern Californian city of Piercy, and the campgrounds cover both Mendocino County, where Piercy is a part of, and Humboldt County.

The vibes there were very immaculate, and it goes to show that a collaborative music festival can happen perfectly as long as the people attending it are still enjoying themselves in the midst of wonderful music. All the while, surrounding themselves with beautiful natural environments that enrich their mind, body, and soul. Here is the review of Dirtybird Campout x Northern Nights Music Festival at Cook’s Valley Campgrounds, a memorable experience that truly provided an overall, blissful experience for all who love to be around a calm and proactive setting while listening to amazing music blasting all around.

Rejuvenating the mind, body, and soul with top-notch music, wonderful activities, and amazing amenities

At this joyful collaborative Dirtybird Campout x Northern Nights Music Festival, the campground games, wellness hotspots, and the comfortable festival amenities really provide a world-class leisure experience for the attendees. The games and exciting competitions provide fun memories for those who participated, including the “Rollin’ Competition”, “Egg Toss”, “Beer Pong”, the “Dirtybird Talent Show”, the “Love Birds” dating contest, and the can-not-miss “Dirtybird Spelling Bee”. These games allow participants to relive their childhood days of enjoying the outdoors with their beloved friends and family, all the while making new, unforgettable friends who enjoy the same interests as them.

Not just that, the wellness hubs at the festival allow participants to recharge and genuinely embrace nature at the “Tree Lounge”, located at the Grove Stage, which distracts them from the stressors of their daily lives back home. The yoga and pilates workshops, as well as other wonderful meditative events, that the attendees get to partake in provide them the opportunity to increase their knowledge of physical and mental health enhancement.

Also, the art and fashion vendors successfully showcased innovative, colorful, and outstanding creations that the attendees can view with amazement and, if possible, can bring them as souvenirs to show off to their friends and families. One awesome thing to observe was the large multitudes of attendees who were relaxing on the waters of the South Fork Eel River, as they floated along the river that starts from the Bird Bath Stage and ends at around the River Stage.

Aside from the aforementioned Grove Stage, Bird Bath Stage, and River Stage, the other stages at the festival are the Bunker Stage and the prominent Main Stage itself. Furthermore, the smaller and more intimate ‘Our Friends’ stages of “LFO”, “Madrone”, and the memorable “Octopus Garden” allow fans to chill and unwind a bit, while still getting their grooves on, before returning to jam out at the bigger stages. The star artists at the festival allow the participants to feel the strong vibrations from the bass, synths, snares, kicks, and other energetic sounds that allow the festivities to continue going strong from the beginning of the festival to the festival’s closing.

Stars such as Aluna, Walker & Royce, Levity, Jungle, Justin Martin, and Zeds Dead elevated the sounds to a phenomenal standing that allowed all to vibe nonstop. Other superb talents like Mary Droppinz, Ardalan, VNSSA, Nala, Christian Martin, and Sacha Robotti also brought hot beats that the festival attendees got to shake their heads in euphoric delight. As it resonates worldwide, great music always brings everyone together, regardless of their background, and the music at the festival really gets everyone dancing to their unique rhythms, especially those who continue dancing till sunrise.

The memorable impact that the festival gives out to those who participated

One attendee who really enjoyed her unforgettable time at Dirtybird Campout x Northern Nights Music Festival was a San Francisco-based content creator named Erica Corona, who is the host of her own innovative dance/electronic music podcast on Spotify called ‘Behind The Drop’. She had attended five Dirtybird Campout festivals in the past and also added that this current festival was her first time attending a Northern Nights event. In addition, she expressed her genuine feelings about the festival, stating that it is now “one of her most favorite festivals she’d ever attended to date“.

Erica also said, “This great cooperation between Dirtybird and Northern Nights allowed this festival to become an overall success as it perfectly brought both festival communities together to celebrate wonderful music, art, cannabis, and other wellness features that both festivals have developed their own excellent reputations for throughout the years“. The succesful partnership of Dirtybird Campout and Northern Nights over that weekend really did allow both communities to experience a whole new environment that is just as fun as their previous festival experiences at past editions. For sure, Dirtybird Campout and Northern Nights will very likely host another one-of-a-kind collaborative festival.
