On Saturday, February 15, the gnarly and innovative house and techno label, Dirtybird Records, hosted their 20th anniversary event, Dirtybird Twenty, at the International Art Museum of America. This museum is located in the world-famous Financial District of San Francisco (more specifically, on the renowned Market Street itself) and the Dirtybird Twenty event was the perfect occasion for the museum to showcase its beautiful artistic masterpieces to the hundreds of dance music fans who attended the event.

The artists who performed inside the museum were Artsychoke, a b2b set between Techno Tupac and Chocolate Sushi, Christian Martin, Rodriguez Jr., and Shiba San. The Dirtybird Twenty event is a party of the record label’s 20th Anniversary Celebration Tour that is happening nationwide at this moment.

Dirtybird Twenty showcased an exotic and chill theme at the International Art Museum of America

The theme of Dirtybird Twenty is based on the legendary ‘Garden of Eden’ and the exotic scenery could make one feel that they are in a relaxing, tropical environment. When attendees enter through the front door of the museum, they can see the event happening right before their eyes as they walk through the entrance aisle. After showing the tickets, fans got to view the exclusive Dirtybird merch booth, bar, and the walkway that leads into the dance floor itself.

The dance floor area had a setting that felt like an island party, with small ponds that laid themselves throughout the floor and life-like rocky walls complementing the setting as well. Additionally, the music coming out of the artists set the cool vibes and reinvigorated a part of San Francisco that was once a very lively area of the city. The fans attending, in particular, filled up the museum by midnight. By the time the event ended at 3 a.m., the mood was still very lively and there was a sense the fans wanted to enjoy more music until sunrise.
