Flume to headline two-day experiential hotel takeover

Local producer Flume will headline a two-day experiential hotel takeover along with a swath of global artists, designers and curators as they present a vision for the future.

Trend forecasters Semi-Permanent and global cool radar Highsnobiety is putting on the spread at Sydney/Gadigals Paramount House Hotel in Surry Hills (just up the road from Hotel Hollywood if you wanted to snap it up for $10m) later this month.

According to the press release, ”The immersive experience brings together music, fashion, cinema, art, and design in a multimedia experience comprising of exhibitions, installations, live talks, commercial pop-ups, cinema screenings and tastings.” aka something for everyone.

Other artists include innovative designer Jonathon Zawada (behind most of the Flumes latest music videos and design work), surfboard designer Haydenshapes, director and screenwriter Gia Coppola and plenty more.

It all goes down in May, Wednesday 26th and Thursday 27th with tickets free, free, free so register here for a chance to nab some.

Flume’s been on a bit of late whirl of late dabbling in ambient sets with Diplo and even knocking together a special ‘Year 12 Formal’ mix for Triple J! ps we freakin’ love this liver version of ‘Rushing Back’ featuring Vera Blue.
