As Cascade Equinox Festival returns for its third edition this September 19–21, 2025, at the Deschutes County Fairgrounds in Redmond, Oregon, the beloved Pacific Northwest gathering is doubling down on quality, curation, and immersive experience. To set the tone, fan-favorite live act Big Gigantic has curated an exclusive 40-track playlist for EDMTunes readers, featuring a mix of their signature funk-infused bangers—including new tracks from their latest album FLUORESCENCE—alongside selections from fellow Cascade Equinox artists.

This year, the festival is taking a more refined approach by reducing overlapping sets and streamlining the layout to enhance flow, connection, and immersion across the board. With sweeping views of snow-capped mountain peaks, trees, and a creek running through the expansive 340-acre fairgrounds, Cascade Equinox offers one of the most scenic backdrops of any U.S. festival. The setting is further elevated by a rich offering of experiences—from a vendor marketplace and roller rink to workshops, yoga, wine tastings, interactive art, and an expanded Healing Garden designed for weekend-long rejuvenation.
Musically, Cascade Equinox 2025 leans into its most dance-forward lineup yet. Leading the charge is GRAMMY-nominated duo Disclosure, making their long-awaited return to Oregon, joined by genre-bending favorites like Sylvan Esso, TroyBoi, Chromeo (DJ Set), and Passion Pit (DJ Set). Big Gigantic will once again bring their electrifying fusion of sax-driven funk, bass, and live drums to the stage—an act that’s long been a festival favorite for their high-energy performances and vibrant stage presence.
The Colorado-based duo—Dominic Lalli (sax/production) and Jeremy Salken (drums)—are also celebrating the release of FLUORESCENCE, their first full-length album in three years. This new creative chapter is described as “all fun, light and positivity—a celebration of the boundless energy that makes dance music and festival culture feel so alive.” The album showcases Big G’s evolution while staying true to their roots: infectious, uplifting, and made for dancing under the stars.
