With the almost indefinite postponement of festivals, it is no surprise that all Insomniac events for the rest of 2020 have been canceled. Pasquale Rotella recently posted this update just letting everyone know their end of 2020 plans. This means the last four Insomniac festivals Nocturnal Wonderland, Escape Psycho Circus, EDC Orlando, and Dreamstate have all been officially postponed until 2021.

As you might have imagined after we moved EDC Las Vegas to May 2021, we will be shifting Nocturnal Wonderland, Escape Psycho Circus, EDC Orlando & Dreamstate SoCal to 2021 as well. While this year has been full of ups and downs, it’s something I’ve found a lot of positivity & excitement in. This extra time to plan is going to allow us to make our 2021 events the best we’ve ever had both creatively & logistically. In the meantime, we will of course continue to keep the vibe alive through InsomniacTV with a bunch of new Livestreams & Rave-A-Thons so stay tuned for those announcements. Keep your heads up & let’s continue to look out for one another. I see a bright & amazing future ahead and can’t wait to be with all of you on the dancefloor once again! ❤️
What Now?
Though it’s sad to hear that even more festivals have been canceled, we all know it’s for the best. This does, however, give the Insomniac team even more time to plan. Insomniac has always given us nothing but the best quality events from the beginning, so this will only bring them even closer to perfection. Coming back from this year and all that has happened with COVID will not be easy, but Insomniac never disappoints.
Insomniac’s livestreams and virtual raves are still going strong as well. Tune in to InsomniacTV and Youtube for any and all your livestream needs. They’re always announcing new streams and uploading old sets.
Day Trip Festival
Another big announcement from our Insomniac fam is about Day Trip Festival! Day Trip Fest is one of the newer additions to Insomniac. This is a single day, 21+ event happening on July 3, 2021. They just moved to a brand new waterfront venue in Los Angeles, Pier 46. This new venue will hopefully bring great views and great vibes to the 2021 festival season. The best thing about Day Trip? It’s ALL house music all day long. There hasn’t been a festival yet that’s solely dedicated to house music, so this is going to be exciting!
The tickets sold out very quickly, but like EDC Las Vegas, they do offer a waitlist option. As with pretty much any festival, we don’t yet have a lineup, but this never stops ravers from selling out events.
