Lane 8 opens 2025 with his first release of the year, ‘The Remedy.’ Fans instantly recognize it from his Childish tour, Summer 2025 Mixtape, and sets at We Belong Here Miami and Veld 2025. For half a year, fans speculated about its origins. Many believed it sampled ‘Yerbatero’ by Juanes. Today, Lane 8 confirmed it. If you listen carefully the track uses the iconic opening line, “Le traigo el remedio para ese mal de amor que le estremece.”
The song begins with that vocal sample, setting the tone immediately. Synths, pads, and steady kicks follow, pulling listeners into an immersive soundscape. Percussion and melodic arpeggios build gradually, layering warmth and rhythm. A driving bassline anchors the track, while shimmering synths and vocal chops add emotional depth.
