Top tier production bros Mark Ronson and Diplo have dropped Volume 3 of their ‘Especially 4 U’ mix series and boy, it slaps.
Each artist has in their own right earned themselves the title of being a trustworthy source of ultra-smooth electronic so when the pairing initially announced their Silk City project in 2018 we knew we’d be treated just right.
Since their inception, they’ve dropped some fairly large originals including “Electricity” featuring Dua Lipa and more recently, a track with Ellie Goulding – the late of which will pave the way for a full album.
The mix series has been something of a quality over quantity thing and for the most part, a pre-emptive strike when releasing new music. That makes sense with the latest ‘Especially 4 U’ mix opening with the latest track “New Love”.
From there though things get way more buckled with stacks of energetic cuts from A-Trak, Chris Lake, reworks by local lads Dom Dolla and Cassian as well as super legit Souls of Mischief remix.
