Martin Garrix Drops Drum And Bass Track ‘Set Me Free’ With Arcando And Bonn

Multiplatinum-selling, chart-topping Dutch DJ and producer Martin Garrix and Arcando joined forces to release their new single ‘Set Me Free’ featuring Bonn via Garrix’s label STMPD RCRDS. ‘Set Me Free’ will appear on Garrix’s new EP ORIGO, set for release in September. Released earlier this month, ‘Sleepless Nights’ with Armin van Buuren will also be included on the EP. Additionally, his previously released single with Alesso, ‘Inside Our Hearts,’ will be featured.

In an unexpected genre flip, Martin’s Big Room and Progressive background merge with Arcando’s bass-heavy soundscapes. This blend creates an adrenaline-filled Drum and Bass track. Bonn’s soothing vocal reverb with passion and nostalgia. In contrast, the fast-paced drums and snares accompany the kicks with intensity and vigor.

“Martin & I have been talking about doing a drum & bass record together ever since he played my remix of ‘Jungle’ at Ultra Miami last year. We wanted to recreate that special moment by working on a drum & bass song together, something fresh for 2025…” “..We eventually managed to find the perfect blend between both of our styles. I’m so excited to finally have the song coming out, especially as it is also Martin’s first-ever drum & bass record!”

Arcando

Martin Garrix recently performed at Lollapalooza in Chicago and the iconic L.A State Historic Park. It was his first time playing in LA since 2016. Garrix is the first-ever artist to perform three nights at L.A State Historic Park. He immediately sold out 60,000 tickets for two shows. Due to high demand, he added the third night. Earlier in June, Martin Garrix spent four nights in Las Vegas. He played shows at OMNIA, TAO Beach Club, and EDC. Adding to his highly sought-after shows, Garrix recently sold out two nights at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, CO, in October.

Martin Garrix, one of the youngest and most successful DJs and producers, has become a major figure in the pop and electronic music scenes. Since his breakout hit ‘Animals’ in 2013, at just 17 years old, Garrix has headlined festivals globally. He has collaborated with stars like Dua Lipa, Bono, The Edge, Khalid, and Macklemore. Additionally, he has garnered 25 million monthly listeners on Spotify. His chart-topping tracks, such as ‘In The Name of Love’ (2016), ‘Scared to Be Lonely’ (2017), ‘Ocean’ (2018), ‘Summer Days’ (2019), and ‘We Are the People’ (2021), have shaped the sound of modern dance-pop. Known for his high-energy performances and infectious productions, Garrix continues to connect with audiences worldwide. In doing so, he solidifies his place as a pioneer in electronic music. Climbing yet another rung of his ladder to stardom, he is a founder of his very own label (STMPD RCRDS), owner of a studio complex in Amsterdam, and a mentor to upcoming artists.

Arcando

Ever since Martin Garrix amazed the EDM community by playing Arcando’s viral remix of ‘Jungle’ by Alok & The Chainsmokers at Ultra 2024, the Dutch multi-talent has been skyrocketing on the DnB scene. His distinctive crossover sound has been breaking down the barriers between drum & bass and dance music.

Fast-forward to August 2025, the Dutch DJ/producer’s rapid rise to stardom sees its (so far) culmination point. Arcando’s drum & bass collaboration ‘Set Me Free’ with Martin Garrix and Bonn is finally released on August 22. The highly-awaited song was premiered at Ultra Miami 2025. It amassed millions of views on social media before its release. ‘Set Me Free’ continues Arcando’s string of high-octane releases. His 2025 has already showcased singles ‘Ultrasound’, ‘California Dreamin’, ‘Operator’ and ‘Stars’ (with A Little Sound), accompanied by the official remix of ‘Limitless’ by Martin Garrix & Mesto.

Above all, the rapid emergence hasn’t gone unnoticed by the A-listers. Arcando’s been enjoying constant support across all genres, featuring names like The Chainsmokers, Zedd, Gryffin, Sub Focus, and many more. Destined to pioneer the new era of drum & bass, Arcando’s triumphant first eight months of the year have only served as a prelude to what’s to come. Numerous top-tier collaborations and projects are to be unleashed in the near future. The year is also entertaining the young Dutchman’s grand-scale global breakthrough on the event side, with multiple tours and dozens of festivals and club shows being rolled out in Europe, Asia, and North America.
