Matty Ralph And EMBER Join Forces For Club Heater, ‘Bass In My Body’

If you fancy a good rave record with the old school seasoning, we’ve got the choice for you.

The rising star of Trance is back at it again. Matty Ralph is back in the spotlight, this time with a new single, ‘Bass In My Body‘, alongside vocalist EMBER. Teased for months during his sets all over Europe, Ralph is once again showing why he’s got such a meteoric rise in Trance, garnering support from the greater lads out there in the process.

Pulling inspiration from the sounds of Classic Trance, Techno, Rave, and a plethora of other influences, his music has grown into a style that feels both timeless and innovative. If you’re looking to have a good sob on the dancefloor but don’t want to overdo it, he’s got your back, with beats that will have you shuffling from side to side.

“You can’t really get around places only by DJing now. You have to have your own sound.”

-Matty Ralph

‘Bass In My Body’

With a sound that somewhat resembles one of his earlier 2025 releases, ‘Rave Life’, Matty’s latest track, ‘Bass In My Body’, plays with rhythmic samples, offbeat jumpy basslines, and 90s-scented spoken vocals from EMBER. Almost every element used nods cleverly to different key sounds of the past: leads, samples, drums, and even white noise.

Matty told us in our exclusive interview with him that his goal with this — now signature — sound of his that paints a picture of so much nostalgia for those days when the DJ was not even the centre of attention of the club, is “to bring this to a newer generation of ravers“. Well, we certainly consider him one of the role models for the younger generation who’s beginning to get back into Trance, alongside key players like Hannah Laing, Marlon Hoffstadt, and Ben Hemsley, among many others.
