Glockwork Records’ focus is to enlighten, motivate, and drop the filth all while delivering multi-genre music to the world. The COVID-19 pandemic, which we are still undergoing, has put a damper on a lot of the music industry’s future in a multitude of ways. For instance, promoters not knowing when their next show is & artists starving to find bookings. It’s a taxing reality that has brought uncertainty.
After taking a 90+ Day hiatus, GWR has not released any content. But it all ended on September 10th, 2020. The label came together and brought powerhouses such as GOBSMVCKED, SOLR, Lux Operatur, Twice Vision, Dr. Chubbs, BVSS TVCTIC, Dr. Chubbs, CLUSTERFVCK, and many more. The diverse artists under Glockwork Records is a force to be reckoned with, which blessed us all with INNER WORKINGS VOL. 2, a locked and loaded compilation composed of 16 tracks. Not only is this compilation filled with versatility and diversity, but motivating during a time of uncertainty. In a time where everything is falling apart, GWR is fighting through, and showing inspiration is possible during these dark times. When sitting down with the owner/founder of Glockwork Records, he opened up about what’s the future and to come off the label:
For the end of the year, what we have in store at GWR. Glockwork Records just released their 16 record compilation titled INNER WORKINGS VOL. 2. It almost seems as if GWR is following in the footsteps of Excision’s record label Subsidia. There will be more in store as we are dropping new merch, working on new tracks for you guys, and most importantly manifesting good vibes for the end of the year and 2021.
