Peggy Gou drops hopeful new track ‘Nabi’

Peggy Gou, real name Kim Min-ji has shared another beautiful cut of electronica, like many, inspired by the hope of what’s to come post-minimal activity and expression from the global music and arts scene!

The Berlin-based producer has been on an astronomical rise since the release of her works ‘Starry Night’ and ‘It Makes You Forget’ that led to drops on seminal electronic labels Ninjatune and Phonica.

‘Nabi’ comes two years since then and features as a collaboration with OHHYUK, a fellow South Korean native and guitarist for his own indie-rock band. The track is ”very much the sound of now – a lowkey anthem fuelled by feelings of hope, freedom and positivity for what’s to come” according to Gou.

Upon first listen we’re greeted by a lovely set of piano chords, strings and stabby drums along with Gou and OHHHYUKs tempered vocals. Turns out there’s more to come with another track that’ll ”dial up the tempo, kicks, 808’s and 909s to soundtrack a summer where we can all (hopefully) dance together in our thousands again.” – how good!
