It seems the iPhone X has become more a flop than a success, as a new reveals Apple has plans to discontinue its most expensive smartphone to date.
Going f a reliable source, says disappointing sales the iPhone X are the leading cause its inevitable cancellation. According to the , Apple is planning on ceasing production by this summer.
Apparently the just-as-new and more affordable option, the iPhone 8 Plus is satisfying users in ways the iPhone X cannot. However, interest in all new iPhones, regardless model, is rumored to have hit a historic low.
But the idea behind the iPhone X won’t be going away completely. KGI Securities’ analyst Ming-Chi Kuo the hyped up iPhone X will soon be replaced by three other leading iPhone X inspired designs:
– second generation 5.8-inch iPhone X
– 6.5-inch iPhone X Plus
– “$650-750” 6.1-inch iPhone SE replacement
Though this is all coming from reliable sources, we’ll have to wait and see if Apple actually does away with its most controversial smartphone yet.
