Like clockwork, RL Grime has dropped his annual Halloween mix and boy, does it slap with liberal cuts of hybrid Hip-Hop, Trap and electronic from Amine, Hudson Mohawke, BRONSON (aka ODEZSA and Golden Features), and even Australia’s Ninajirachi.
Unsurprisingly in the mix is a couple of chompers from RLs Sable City label that recently dropped a beastly compilation that featured New Zealand native Montell2099 among others.
The whole thing has become a bit of a spectacular with each year bringing even more goodness. 2020 is no exception with mental visuals throughout and an intro featuring rapper T-Pain. Again, the whole project, even at just an hour-long is redefining the word quality and hopefully a solid indication of where electronic music is heading.
