Glasgow’s Riverside Festival announces the first phase of its 2020 lineup, establishing the outdoor techno tapas as a worthy springtime getaway with showcases from the likes of Amelie Lens, Floating Points, Marcel Dettmann, and Squarepusher, who returns after a five-year hiatus.
The festival takes place May 23-24 at the hyper-modern Riverside festival, right along the banks of the infamous River Clyde. Additional flavors in phase one include the deep and dancey, with names like Jayda J and Palm Trax, and kinetic in-your-face techno, with live sets from 99999999 as well as Scotland’s finest and hosts of the festival, SLAM.
Riverside Music Festival takes place between 1 and 11 p.m., but is known to host afterparties well into the night. Tickets for both are now available through the event’s home page. See the full phase one lineup below.
