Austin City Limits‘ (ACL’s) archive is now available at no cost to streamers, as programmers make the first two seasons and current episodes free in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. “While live music is grounded and with the postponement and cancellation of countless tours and music festivals, ACL aims to keep its spirit alive, providing new viewing options for the house-bound,” read a statement on ACL’s official website.
The longest-running music series in the nation, Austin City Limits foregrounds artists across genres, such as Billie Eilish, St. Vincent, Willie Nelson, Buddy Guy, and Arctic Monkeys, among others, giving listeners a “front-row seat” to performances from their favorite musicians. Altogether, more than 35 episodes of the famed TV show are accessible to music fans, and can be streamed, here.
