Sullivan King takes Kayzo’s ‘Alone’ to heavier heights – Dancing Astronaut

Kayzo and Sullivan King are two of the most prominent metal/bass hybrid producers in the scene right now. To see one give the other’s track an official remix is nothing short of a bass lover’s delight. Packed to the brim with rock and metal influence delicately intertwined with massive dubstep drops, King bursts back into electronic earshot with a remix of the opening track to Kayzo’s 2019 album Unleashed.

“Alone” featuring Our Last Night, is a pristine example of how effortlessly dubstep and metal can fuse together. Courtesy of Kayzo’s own Welcome Records, King expands on the original with heavier and harder hitting drops while preserving the emotion exuded in the original vocals. The first drop lends itself to higher-pitched synths favored by the bass music community, while the second drop is used to showcase King’s affinity for shredding electric guitar. The remix is a symbiotic fever dream for headbangers and metalheads alike.
