The “Energy” for your workout! Powerful Techno banger from STISEMA and The Rocketman

• Focus on the melody, non on the kick
• Good fit for workout playlists
• Balance between old-school and new trends

STISEMA‘s latest track is taking over my gym playlist in a big way. Titled “Energy“, it’s a killer release from the Norwegian DJ, together with The Rocketman, released via Maddix’s Extatic label.

Our protagonist has rapidly risen in the EDM scene, headlining major festivals like X Games Norway and Radistai Village in Lithuania. His career skyrocketed after his debut single “Hold On” hit #1 on Spotify’s Viral Norway Chart, followed by successful remixes. Notably, his remix of “It Ain’t Me” by Kygo and Selena Gomez gained global acclaim and has been played at Tomorrowland!

“Energy” is the kind of Hyperpop-Oldschool-Techno hit that starts out subtle, with smooth, funky, retro sounds drawing you in, and then before you know it, it’s shifting gears into a full-speed, high-energy drive. The composition is an evolving experience, setting itself apart from the crowd.

It manages to capture that old-school feel that I love while still bringing fresh elements that make it stand out. The entrance of the kick is timed so perfectly that it feels like a natural elevation in the track, seamlessly ushering in the drop’s section. This is a softer, more melodic way of producing Techno, focusing on a catchy tune and an infectious rhythm rather than a heavy, dark drop. Seriously, this track has it all. It’s no wonder that I’ve already added “Energy” to my workout mix.

“Energy” is made for pressing repeat at the gym. It’s got the power to keep your adrenaline pumping and the fun vibe to keep you motivated all through the session. You get lost in the flow, letting the rhythm push you to go, go, go. All that without ever losing the big smile on your face, thanks to its unrelenting positivity. Once you’ve heard “Energy,” you can’t help but keep it on loop, getting more hyped with each play.
