Kaskade brought his first Undux shows to Toronto last week. He played a two-hour sunset set on a rooftop in Yorkville, part of the Yorkville Murals series. The weather was perfect. Friends, music, and open skies—everything felt just right. The show stayed true to the Undux concept: daytime vibes in a unique outdoor space. It moved away from massive productions, skipping heavy lights and screens for a more intimate experience.

First Undux Show
Fans climbed the parking garage to reach the rooftop venue. Local DJs Mazone, Strong, and Greg Mike set the tone with energetic warm-up sets. Guests passed vibrant floor art and watched live mural painting unfold behind the stage, adding a creative edge to the experience. As the evening went on, the crowd grew. It was one of the busiest rooftop shows I’ve attended. The stage placement showcased the mural beautifully, though it made crowd flow a bit tricky. When Kaskade appeared, the energy soared. Toronto showed up strong—his fans were loud and loyal. One moment even made it to his socials: a man cooking dinner in his condo while the set played below.
Kaskade’s Undux set leaned into deep house, opening with fresh tracks before blending in Redux-style favorites. I won’t spoil the full tracklist for the upcoming cities, but hearing ‘Escape,’ ‘Move For You,’ ‘On Your Mind,’ and ‘Disarm You’ was a highlight. The Undux concept delivered—intimate, outdoor shows like this are rare in Toronto and truly special. Next stops on the undux tour include New York and Dallas this weekend, followed by San Francisco and Atlanta. Hopefully, more dates are on the way. For updates, check Kaskade’s official website.
