4444 OF A KIND is back with a second chapter, and it hits harder than the first. The hard dance supergroup built from D-Block & S-te-Fan and Sub Zero Project has returned to Tomorrowland Music with ‘4 THE RAVE,’ a track that’s been road-tested on some of the biggest hard dance stages in Europe well before its official release.
‘4 THE RAVE’ leans into everything that makes the project work: infectious vocals, high-energy production and drops built to level dancefloors. Rather than just splitting the difference between two established sounds, 4444 OF A KIND keeps pushing toward something that belongs entirely to itself — a sound that stretches Hard Dance past its usual boundaries.
The track’s story starts at the 4444 OF A KIND writers camp at the beginning of 2026, where it came together before making its live debut at Reverze in Belgium. That first play alone pulled one of the biggest crowd reactions of the night, and the track kept building momentum from there. Over the summer it worked its way through the Freedom Stage at Tomorrowland, a mainstage closing slot at Beats For Love in Czech Republic, another mainstage close at Medusa Festival in Spain, and a set at REBiRTH Festival in the Netherlands.
At Tomorrowland specifically, ‘4 THE RAVE’ turned into one of the clear highlights of the set — the kind of reaction that just confirmed what crowds had already been showing all summer. It’s 4444 OF A KIND at their most direct: built for the rave, made for the dancefloor.
Sub Zero Project, the Dutch hard dance duo of Nigel Coppen and Thomas Velderman, built their reputation on tracks like ‘Darkest Hour’ and ‘Our Church’ before expanding their footprint with ‘It Will Be Ok,’ which topped every major Top 100 chart in 2025. They’ve also linked up with Steve Aoki on ‘Promises’ and joined Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and Timmy Trumpet for ‘Move Your Body.’ Festival-wise, they’ve hit the Tomorrowland Mainstage in both 2025 and 2026, along with EDC Las Vegas, Wasteland, Ultra Australia, Ultra Peru and Amsterdam Music Festival.
D-Block & S-te-Fan have been a fixture in hard dance for over two decades, known for pairing raw energy with melodic, emotional songwriting. Their long-running live show ‘Ghost Stories’ wrapped with a sold-out set for 15,000 fans, marking 20 years of the duo. Rather than slow down, they’ve moved straight into this next chapter alongside Sub Zero Project, continuing to build out the story of 4444 OF A KIND.
