Google’s Pixel Reveal is Moving Up 2 Months This Year

Google just announced their Pixel event two months earlier than usual, set to take place on August 13th at 10 am PST. The trailer spelled the date in Roman numerals, check it out below. Made by Google will showcase the best of Google AI and their mobile platform together. You’ll get exciting updates across Android software, Gemini, and the Pixel family plus its hardware. All you need to do is visit the link here and tune in to the live stream. No registration is required, just sign up for reminders to lock it into your calendar. And for anyone that misses the event, don’t worry, a recording will be available recapping it all.

Typically, the event takes place in October and we do not know why they chose to hold this annual event earlier. Rumors speculate it could be to precede Apple’s annual iPhone event in September. Maybe the reveal will boost holiday sales and the war between Apple and Android continue in stores, malls, and online another year. Invitees received an email sent with the words “You’re invited to an in-person Made by Google event”. What’s more, the teaser showed the Roman numeral “nine” which means we should be getting updates on the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro. Setting the tone for their pre-announced phones, they head off any leaks attempting to spoil their surprise. Now, what else do we want to know more about? What about the successor to the Pixel Fold? Pixel Watch 3? Certainly, the tablet is due for an upgrade as well. Let’s not forget to keep an eye out on their earbuds.

Additionally, the era of AI is nigh and Google will surely dish out the latest in their AI innovations. They’ve already unified their AI efforts with Gemini, which means more on the cloud and AI processing perhaps. Gemini Nano helps speed through tasks and lets you get on with your day. The AI model is high-powered and offers summarizing capabilities through recording, quality writing, and more. Its growth is set to understand sights, sounds, and spoken language. Well, the anticipation builds for the next in design for the devices. We’ll stay tuned for the event and see what they unleash next.
