I’m calling it: “Stay Forever” is one of the sweetest Trance tunes of the year. DGoh and OZDMR dropped it on Reaching Altitude and it’s been living rent-free in my head ever since. DGoh’s a veteran on the label with multiple releases under his belt, and he’s no stranger to working with OZDMR. The two already teamed up last year for “N.Y.L” and somehow I missed that one too. Both tracks share this energy and melodic strength that feel so natural together. OZDMR may have only been releasing for a short while, but his catalog is already stacked with remixes and straight-up bangers. Safe to say, his touch guarantees results.
“Stay Forever” opens with a heavy bassline that shows its claws right away. I was ready for an aggressive drop but instead we get a slow, rising buildup. The vocal enters, soft and airy, almost disarming after that intro. I’ll admit, the lack of an immediate drop caught me off guard. For a second, I thought it might lose momentum.
Then the pre-drop melody hits and… wow. Sweet, heartfelt, and perfectly woven with the vocal. It’s one of those moments that just locks you in. When the drop finally comes, it’s a flawless blend of Big Room, Progressive House and Trance. The bassline sits exactly where it needs to, carrying the melody without overpowering it. The structure flows effortlessly, every element right where it should be.
What makes “Stay Forever” so addictive is that balance between power and sweetness. It hits hard enough to keep the energy alive but always comes back to that gorgeous, emotional core. DGoh and OZDMR have created something that feels timeless and fresh at the same time. A proper masterpiece.
