Bart Skils & A.D.H.S – ‘Can’t Hear You’

Get ready to add another track to your 2025 playlist because Bart Skils and A.D.H.S have teamed up once again to deliver a standout hit. Fresh off the success of their previous single ‘Torn Clouds’ on Drumcode, Bart Skils continues to impress with his production skills. The Dutch DJ has been making waves this summer with appearances at Awakenings and a sunrise set at Fusion Festival, solidifying his status as a powerhouse in the techno scene. Meanwhile, A.D.H.S is no stranger to Drumcode, having contributed to past ‘A-Sides’ compilations and released tracks on other notable labels.

‘Can’t Hear You’ was born out of a holiday in Sri Lanka where A.D.H.S found inspiration after injuring his back. Using his phone to sketch out ideas, he stumbled upon a beautiful vocal sample that sparked the creation of this new track. In his own words, “I started playing around with samples on my phone and found this beautiful vocal and just started sketching some ideas. No pressure, just emotions.” The result is a track that captures the raw creativity and emotion of its inception.

About A.D.H.S

A.D.H.S By Resident Advisor

With his dancefloor bombs ‘Zulu’, ‘Decipher’ or ‘2Step’ on labels Terminal M, Electric Ballroom or Drumcode, he delivers nothing but energy to the crowds at the stages of festivals such as Extrema Outdoor as well as in clubs across the world.

In 2023, he took on a very special kind of challenge: Recognizing the historic significance of Thomas Schumacher’s ‘When I Rock’ as it reached its 25-year milestone, he decided to embark on a creative journey to pay homage to the original masterpiece. The remix, released on Schumacher’s own Electric Ballroom Records, reached #1 on the German Club Charts for 2 weeks, #7 on the Beatport Techno Charts and #2 on the Beatport Hype Charts. It furthermore entered Spotify’s TECHNO BUNKER, Electronic Rising and Techno Workout playlists and received FAZEmag’s Best Remix of 2023 Award. 2024 starts with a continuation of A. D. H.S. & Thomas Schumacher’s partnership which previously culminated in the charts topping Remix for Schumacher’s classic ‘When I Rock’: together they then released a collaboration EP including two tracks – ‘Mirazh’ & ‘Akstian’.

A.D.H.S.’s year of 2024 continued with several solo releases: first Sagaraya and then ‘Kerala’. Kerala is a testament to the power of contrast, blending meditative calm with explosive club energy. It seamlessly integrates traditional Indian meditation chants with hypnotic frequency modulations, ‘dagagagaga’ scats with razor-sharp synth pads and escalating beat cascades, all anchored by a driving psytrance bassline that embodies Berlin’s gritty sound.
