Kompany’s ‘Nemesis’ EP Redefines Heavy Dubstep with Technical Finesse

It’s Labor day weekend and Kompany just dropped a monster release of an EP. ‘Nemesis‘ is a 7-track onslaught that blends collaboration with innovation, showcasing the extremes of bass music while experimenting with storytelling and sonic chaos. The release comes just in time for his Nemesis Headline tour which starts next week.

With Nemesis, Kompany cements himself as one of the most innovative heavy bass producers on the scene. Each track stands on its own but contributes to a cohesive work: raw aggression, technical wizardry, and fearless experimentation. The collaborations keep things fresh, while the underlying theme—intensity, puts it all together in a packaged deal. Fans are treated to previous released heaters ‘Jawbreaker’, ‘Brain Busta’, ‘Jackpot’, and ‘Fire Linking Curse‘ on this one, with a total of 3 new tracks.

in ‘Temper Tantrum‘, the percussion hits in rapid bursts, almost like stomps and claps in a tantrum, while the synths shriek and bounce with manic energy. It certainly feels like one of the most playful yet aggressive tracks on the EP.

Power‘ with Careless Castle is a rollercoaster through evolving basslines and layered sound design. The drops feel huge and dynamic, morphing from one texture to another without ever losing momentum.

Bring It‘ with PYKE is the EP’s closer, and it sounds like a challenge. The opening build dares the listener to brace themselves, and when the drop hits, it’s pure bass artillery—thick subs, jagged stabs, and mechanical grooves that don’t let up. The track is a great finisher for the EP, straightforward in its aggression but polished in execution.

Here’s what Kyle had to say about this EP on Instagram:

‘Nemesis is me continuing to do what I love most and was me just having fun with the music, no overthinking, just making fun noises with some of my most talented friends and people I vibe best with! I’m beyond grateful that I get to keep evolving my sound and that people still show up for it. This EP is a snapshot of that feeling’
