Tame Impala Teams Up With Cercle For Mexico City DJ Set

Tame Impala is set to visit Mexico City for a one-off, secret DJ set produced by Cercle on Friday, October 10, 2025. It’ll be a free, pre-registration-only event that promises an immersive, audio visual take on the project’s new era of music.

The performance will spotlight selections from Kevin Parker’s fifth studio album, ‘Deadbeat,’ due October 17, which recasts Tame Impala in a raw, club-psych, “future-primitive” mode. Deeply rooted in Parker’s upbringing in Western Australia, ‘Deadbeat’ draws on the region’s rave and “bush doof” culture. Nomadic, all-night outdoor parties built around trance, relentless percussion and communal ritual. Set inside a secret Mexico City venue revealed only to registered attendees, the music will be presented as a DJ set designed to emphasize groove and immersion instead of a more conventional concert.

Although on site attendance is extremely limited, Cercle will film the performance for those who can’t make it. the set will be released on the Cercle Music YouTube channel on October 28, extending the moment well beyond Mexico City.

For fans, the event offers an early, intimate glimpse of ‘Deadbeat’ material outside the traditional festival or arena format, a chance to hear Parker’s new club leaning textures in a setting built to amplify atmosphere as much as sound. Those hoping to attend must pre-register for invitations. Capacity is intentionally small and invitations will be distributed ahead of the show.
