Avicii's Final Show to be Commemorated with Special Stockholm Event

The Avicii Experience is preparing to mark a significant milestone in electronic music history: the 10th anniversary of Avicii’s final live performance. On August 28th, the museum in Stockholm will host a special event at The Node, offering fans a unique opportunity to reflect on the legacy of the late producer, Tim Bergling.

The evening is scheduled to run from 4-9 PM CEST and will feature two alternating film screenings. These documentaries provide an intimate look at the conclusion of his touring career, specifically documenting his final show at Ushuaïa in Ibiza and his last performance in Sweden, which took place in Malmö on August 5th, 2016.

A Decade of Reflection

One of the centerpieces of the event is the 2024 documentary Avicii – My Last Show, which chronicles the emotional final chapter of his touring life before his untimely passing in 2018. By showcasing these historic sets, the Avicii Experience continues its mission to preserve and share the story of one of the most influential artists in the history of dance music.

Preserving the Legacy

The museum in Stockholm remains a vital space for fans to engage with Tim Bergling’s career through interactive exhibits and personal artifacts. This upcoming event follows a series of global tributes, including a recent immersive installation at Tomorrowland Belgium, which honored the artist fifteen years after his festival debut.

For those wishing to attend the Stockholm commemoration, registration is required in advance via the Avicii Experience newsletter. As the 10-year anniversary approaches, this event serves as a poignant reminder of the enduring impact of Avicii’s music on the global electronic scene.
